Audiel

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026 · Version française · Back

Audiel is an audio player app (music from your own Navidrome or Subsonic server, radio, podcasts, Apple Music) published by Jean-Louis Piechnik, 27 rue Kempnich, 57140 Woippy, France — piechnik@protonmail.com.

In one sentence

Audiel collects no personal data and operates no server. Everything stays on your device and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud.

What stays on your device

Third-party services contacted at your request

The app contacts the services below directly from your device; the publisher sees and keeps nothing. Each service sees your IP address and an app identifier (User-Agent), as with any Internet access.

What Audiel does not do

No account, no sign-up, no ads, no analytics, no trackers, no third-party analytics SDK, no data sharing or sale. The "Audiel+" in-app purchase and its free trial are handled by Apple; the publisher receives no payment or identity information.

System permissions

Microphone (Shazam recognition only), Local Network (Sonos discovery), Speech Recognition (podcast transcription, on-device), Apple Music, Siri, Notifications and alarms — each requested at first use and revocable in iOS Settings.

Your rights

Since data lives only on your device and in your iCloud, you view, change and delete it yourself (app settings, uninstall). Questions: piechnik@protonmail.com. Under the GDPR you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (France).

Children

Audiel is not directed at children and collects no data about them.
